Latest on Hobby Lobby now open in Apple Valley – Victorville Daily Press

With no fanfare, the new Hobby Lobby opened in the Apple Valley Towne Center next to the unopened Five Below and Marshalls. 
The Apple Valley Hobby Lobby, the 70th company location in California, opened on Friday, June 12, with store manager Bernardo Lopez at the helm, according to the company.
The 55,000-square-foot Hobby Lobby is located at 19386 Bear Valley Roadd, behind the El Pollo Loco.
Hobby Lobby store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the store closed on Sunday.
Many residents told the Daily Press the opening of Hobby Lobby caught them off guard, as the store gave no advanced announcement of the event.
Hobby Lobby has more than 1,000 stores across the nation, offering over 80,000 crafting and home decor products, including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, kitchen, bath, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry making, scrapbooking, party, and paper crafting supplies.

The new Five Below announced an opening date of Friday, June 19, the Daily Press recently reported.
A peek inside the Five Below store revealed shelving units with product, check-out counters, illuminated signs, lighting and other items. 
Marshalls recently conducted a two-day hiring event in Hesperia, for the new Apple Valley store located adjacent to Five Below and near Hobby Lobby. 
The company has not announced an opening date.
Construction of the trio-retail building and property near Bear Valley Road and Westmont Drive was completed earlier this year.
Each store mostly sat empty until April, when Southern California Edison arrived and completed work.
The Town of Apple Valley told the Daily Press in April that the retail center was currently awaiting final utility connections to bring power to the site.
The stores were originally expected to open in early 2026, according to town officials.
