Intech has secured a contract to perform a comprehensive Operational Technology (OT) network assessment for a major liquid terminal operator in the Middle East, according to a report from TradeArabia News Service. The project aims to bolster cybersecurity across the client’s industrial systems.
The scope of work includes evaluating and improving the client’s OT cybersecurity posture. Intech is responsible for creating a structured roadmap toward secure, resilient, and compliant operations that align with international standards and best practices.
As part of the assessment, Intech will conduct a baseline review of OT assets and network architecture, perform a detailed gap analysis, and evaluate compliance against frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82. The company will also carry out security and firewall assessments and develop a complete inventory of OT assets.
Additionally, Intech will design a future-state OT network architecture and deliver a phased migration roadmap. This roadmap will include risk mitigation strategies and rollback planning.
The company noted its extensive experience supporting OT cybersecurity programs across the Middle East’s energy and industrial sectors, helping organizations improve risk management, strengthen security controls, and meet regulatory requirements.
