Brewer hosts MCI and Belfast for unified bocce – WABI

BREWER, Maine (WABI) – Heddericg Field added another sport to its multi-purpose facility.
Brewer Best Buddies hosted MCI and Belfast for unified bocce.
Student-athletes got the chance to come together and have fun.
“I love joining my teammates. They help me do everything at Best Buddies. I love being with my friends,” said Savannah Madore, sophomore unified athlete.
Bocce is one of the sports at this weekend’s Special Olympics Maine State Summer Games at UMaine.
