Laurie Nathan, director of the Mediation Program at the Kroc Institute, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs, participated in a retreat in May for special envoys based in Africa. Held in Pretoria, South Africa’s capital, the retreat was co-hosted by the South African and Swiss departments of foreign affairs. Nathan served as a senior resource person, assisting with the design of the program and facilitation of the retreat.
