TDM AWARDS – NOMINATE NOW!
Dusit Hotels and Resorts is set to expand its Well-Fest 2026, a month-long wellness initiative inspired by Global Wellness Day, in response to the growing demand for wellness travel. Taking place throughout June, the programme will offer immersive experiences at Dusit properties in Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, the Maldives, Guam, the Philippines, and more.
The initiative, themed “Reset I Reconnect I Reignite,” aims to cater to the evolving needs of travellers seeking emotional well-being, better sleep, mindfulness, and meaningful connections. Guests can participate in sunrise yoga, sound healing rituals, and wellness dining experiences, among other activities. Florence Jaffre, Corporate Director of Wellness and Kids’ Experience at Dusit International, stated, “Today’s travellers are increasingly looking for experiences that help them slow down, sleep better, feel mentally lighter, reconnect with family and friends, and return home feeling genuinely restored.”
The global wellness economy, which reached $6.8 trillion in 2024, is projected to approach $10 trillion by 2029, according to the Global Wellness Institute. This growth underscores the significance of wellness tourism and Dusit’s commitment to integrating wellness into its hospitality offerings.
Well-Fest 2026 will feature diverse experiences tailored to local cultures and guest preferences. For instance, Dusit Thani Bangkok will offer holistic wellness journeys, whilst Dusit Thani Maldives will focus on nature-based activities. The initiative reflects a broader trend in hospitality, where wellness is increasingly integrated into the overall stay experience.
The programme will run from 1–30 June 2026 at participating Dusit Hotels and Resorts worldwide. For more information, visit www.dusit.com/well-fest/
