Shaping tomorrow – together. Our researchers are working towards a better healthcare future for all, hear what they want you to know about clinical trials.
Celebrating International Clinical Trials Day 2026
What’s one thing you wish people knew about clinical trials? We asked some of our leading researchers from the Alliance this question, and their answers are intriguing. Just like the diversity of their research, the diversity of their answers shows the passion and consideration these people have for the work they do – which is, shaping a better future of healthcare, globally.

At any given time, the Alfred Research Alliance has more than 700 clinical trials running, making it one of the largest biomedical research precincts in the country. The unique nature of the precinct means every phase of clinical trials can take place on site – beginning with academic clinicians identifying unmet healthcare needs through patient populations at The Alfred, and ending with new treatments and healthcare practices, faster.
On International Clinical Trials Day, we celebrate the theme “shaping tomorrow, together”, which we amplify through our goals and collaborations at the Alfred Research Alliance. Every day, our researchers and healthcare professionals work together with patients on clinical trials to find the best healthcare options available.
Browse our clinical trial directory to discover current research studies, explore eligibility criteria, and find opportunities to participate in advancing your medical care.
