Harry Styles Discos Down in His Gym Shorts and Tennies in ‘Dance No More’ Video – Variety

Harry Styles gets down in his red gym shorts and white tennies in the music video for “Dance No More,” the latest single to be culled from his album “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.”
The video puts the lie to the song’s title by featuring more nonstop choreography than any of the album videos to date, with more than two dozen dancers joining Styles in what initially looks to be a high school gym scenario. That isn’t taken too literally for too long, as a full-on disco party erupts, with mass snogging breaking out on top of the group dance routines.

“Dance No More” marks the third song to get the video treatment from “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” Styles led into his latest era with the track “Aperture” and its visuals, where he staves off an aggressive stalker. He then followed with “American Girls” and a clip directed by James Mackel where he performs stunts on a film set, driving a car under a giant truck that explodes and launching into the air on a motorbike.
The “Dance No More” video is leading into the launch of Styles’ “Together, Together” tour, which kicks off on May 16 with 10 shows in Amsterdam and will include 12 nights in London, where he’ll break Wembley Stadium records; four shows in Brazil; six nights in Mexico; and a staggering 30 shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Styles has already performed songs from “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” including the live debut of “Aperture” with a dance-heavy rendition at the Brit Awards. In early March, he staged his first show in three years at Manchester, England’s Co-op Live, which was filmed and streamed on Netflix two days later. He also gave some love to songs from this era while pulling double duty as the host and guest on “Saturday Night Live” on March 14.
Upon its release in March, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” became his fourth consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The record earned 430,000 equivalent album units, making it the highest debut at the time since Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl.”
