DANVILLE — Danville Borough will host a new free wellness series at Canal Park, offering fitness and health programs throughout the summer. Organizers say Wellness Wednesdays will run on select Wednesdays from May through September, with sessions at noon and 6pm.
The Danville Business Alliance says the program includes walking groups, strength training, dance, and nutrition education for all ages. They say the series is supported by Geisinger and grant funding from the Community Giving Foundation.
Officials say sessions are designed for all fitness levels and encourage community connection. They say participants should bring water and wear comfortable clothing, with indoor backup locations available if needed.
