(WLUK) — Fond du Lac County may close its inpatient acute unit for those with mental illness.
Fond du Lac is one of just four counties with an inpatient mental health unit, according to County Executive Sam Kaufman.

Kaufman shared that the facility has lost on average $1.4 million per year.
Human Services Director Geri Vanevenhoven will give a presentation on the unit's future before the County Board tonight at its 6 p.m. meeting. No decision will be made tonight.
