ELLENSBURG, WA – The Central Washington University Track & Field Team is set to host the GNAC Combined Events Championships on April 26 and April 27.

ABOUT THE MEET:
The GNAC Combined Events Championship brings together the conference’s top multi-event athletes competing in the decathlon and heptathlon over two days of competition. Central Washington will serve as host of athletes from across the Great Northwest Athletic Conference to battle for championship points and individual titles.
Participating Teams:
Central Washington University
University of Alaska Anchorage
Western Oregon University
Western Washington University
The Wildcats will have the most athletes out of the four participating teams with 11 total athletes competing. Competing on the men’s side are five athletes: Drew Klein, Charles Pieper, Josh Boast, Boogy Brown, and Matthew Bender. Six athletes will represent the ‘Cats on the women’s side: Carley Huber, Ellie DeGroot, Meggie Kilcup, Samantha DeLay, Addyson Bowyer, and Elia Baker.
The festivities begin tomorrow morning 10:00 a.m. when the men participate in the 100m dash while the women begin at 10:15 a.m. with the 100m hurdles.
