Jordan Chiles concluded her collegiate gymnastics career this week, sharing a message of gratitude to the University of California, Los Angeles, following the 2026 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships.

The Bruins finished fifth overall at the national championships held Saturday, April 18, with a team score of 197.2750. While the team did not advance to the final four, Chiles ended her tenure on a high note by securing her fourth career individual NCAA title. The senior took first place on the floor exercise with a score of 9.9750, marking her second national title in that specific event.

Before the finals, the senior was named the winner of the 2026 AAI Award, an honor recognizing the top senior gymnast in the country. On Tuesday, Chiles addressed her 1.6 million Instagram followers with a tribute to her four years in Westwood, expressing how much the program helped her grow as an individual.

“I’ve learned so much about myself and becoming who I am today,” Chiles wrote in her post. She credited her teammates for providing lasting friendships and thanked her coaching staff for allowing her to remain authentic while competing. She ended the emotional note with a nod to her well-known moniker, writing, “With that being said—THAT GIRL! Is out.”
The 2026 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year leaves the collegiate ranks with one of the most decorated resumes in the history of the sport. Throughout her four years at UCLA, Chiles earned 19 perfect 10s, a total that ranks among the top 10 in NCAA history. Her career included 12 perfect scores on floor, six on uneven bars, and one on vault.
A two-time Olympian, Chiles has consistently been a key contributor to Team USA, helping the squad secure a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games. Her success on the competition floor led to several high-profile opportunities, including a third-place finish on the 34th season of Dancing With the Stars and the release of her 2025 memoir, I’m The Girl: Living the Power of my Dreams.

The Bruins finished the 2026 season with a 33-4 record. Chiles, who finished the year ranked in the top four across every individual category, concluded her message by signaling the end of this chapter, stating she would never forget her time at the university.
