A secret Messina menu item has been exposed by a Hollywood star who is in Australia filming a movie.
Jake Gyllenhaal has been shooting scenes in Brisbane recently and he took a break at the iconic ice cream store in the city's Fortitude Valley.
He ordered what's called a "unicorn", which is for people who truly cannot decide between a cup and a cone.
This Yahoo Lifestyle reporter wanted to give it a whirl and I have mixed feelings about it.

The Messina unicorn is a cup of ice cream that's topped with a cone.
If it's good enough for a Hollywood star, surely it's good, right?
I did the very important job of running to my local Messina to see if the secret menu item was worth it.

I grabbed a single scoop of Salted Coconut and Mango sorbet, and was charged $6.90, meaning I didn't have to pay for the cone.
Even though I only had one scoop, it was incredibly hard to eat around the cone.
Perhaps it would have been better if I had a larger ice cream.
Ice cream is meant to be eaten on the go and this just didn't feel practical.
Some argued it was best to crush up the cone into the ice cream as you went.
But, again, this felt impractical.
I was instead pulling the cone off to have a spoonful of ice cream and then popping it back when I wanted a break or I had to grab my phone from my pocket.
The only use that I could see for it was if you wanted to share your ice cream with somebody, as it split pretty evenly down the middle.
Messina said the secret menu item has been around since 2002, and is available at every store around the country.
The Brokeback Mountain star is currently in Australia with Yellowstone actor Kevin Costner to film Honeymoon With Harry.
The movie, which is adapted from a Bart Baker novel, will be filmed across Brisbane and the Whitsundays.
It centres around an impulsive man, played by Jake, whose honeymoon plans fall apart and hes stuck with his fiancee's difficult father, played by Kevin.
